Christian Lachner, M.D., is a consultant with the Departments of Neurology, Neurologic Surgery and Psychiatry at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Dr. Lachner is certified in Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, and Neuropsychiatry & Behavioral Neurology. His clinical focus includes the evaluation and treatment of neurocognitive disorders such as mild cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer disease & related dementias (Lewy body disease, Vascular Cognitive Impairment, Frontotemporal lobar degeneration syndromes, etc.). Dr. Lachner also specializes in the evaluation and management of neuropsychiatric symptoms (i.e., psychiatric manifestations of neurological disorders) such as non-motor aspects of Parkinson's disease, stroke, brain tumors, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and encephalitis.
