American Neuropsychiatric Association (ANPA)

Trainee/Early Career Newsletter

Plans are now in the works for the 2014 Annual Meeting in Seattle, February 15-19, 2014.  We are thrilled to continue to welcome trainees and early career practitioners into ANPA membership.  This next year is going to see an increased focus on the needs of trainees and early career members as we consider or develop our roles and identities as practitioners of neuropsychiatry.  Both the Membership Committee and the Early Career/Special Events Task Force are working in conjunction to identify and build on opportunities for trainees and early career members to meet each other, network about career opportunities and clinical information, as well as to develop relationships between trainees/early career members and more established members of ANPA.

We are excited to consider many possibilities to meet the needs of our trainee and early career members, but we can’t do it without you!  We are looking for feedback as we work to identify and meet your needs, so tell us!  Or if you want to join in the fun, please let us know.

Contact Kate Brownlowe, head of the Early Career Task Force, at dretak@gmail.com for more information, suggestions, thoughts…or to join the Task Force!
